The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) elects Narendra Modi as India's prime Minister. This comes as the BJP-led NDA alliance holds a meeting of its newly elected MPs in New Delhi. As per reports, following the meeting, the NDA leaders are expected to meet President Droupadi Murmu to stake their claim to form a new government. Notably, alliance members, including TDP's N Chandrababu Naidu and JDU's Nitish Kumar, will accompany PM Modi in meeting the President.
