Next Indian Elections

In the 2024 Lok Sabha election for Nanded (Maharashtra), Vasantrao Balwantrao Chavan of the Indian National Congress won the seat with 528,894 votes, which accounted for 46.88% of the vote share. He defeated Prataprao Govindrao Chikhalikar from the Bharatiya Janata Party, who received 469,452 votes (41.61%). Avinash Vishwanath Bhosikar from the Vanchit Bahujan Aaghadi secured 92,512 votes (8.20%). The margin of victory for Vasantrao Chavan was 59,442 votes. The voter turnout was about 60.93%.

This result marked a gain for the Congress from the BJP in this constituency, demonstrating a competitive political landscape in Nanded.
