Next Indian Elections

Polls have opened in Bangladesh's first election since mass protests toppled Sheikh Hasina in 2024, with nearly 127 million registered voters choosing between the Bangladesh National Party and Jamaat-e-Islami.
Voters are also casting ballots in a constitutional referendum on reforms designed to prevent a return to autocracy.
Key issues include corruption, unemployment, pollution and law-and-order concerns following post-uprising unrest.
Security is tight, with more than 50 parties competing in what is seen as a crucial test of Bangladesh's return to democracy.
