Women have been reduced to mangalsootra wearing, talaq fearing, handbag carrying, goggle wearing caricatures by some of the most senior politicians in the country. But it's not just the women who suffer when such trashy political commentary and media coverage is reserved for them. It’s all of us as, viewers of news and voters, who have to live with it.
