As the elections process nears its finalization, South Africa is getting closer and closer to the time before the nation gets to hear the outcomes of the much-awaited 2024 elections.

From the beginning, the 2024 general elections have always been anticipated to be a game changer in the history of the country's 30-year democratic era.
Thirty years later, and it appears these elections seem to be a landmark moment for the country.

For years now, the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research - CSIR - through its partnership with the SABC, has been using its model to bring predictions to South African audiences.

Joining us in the studio is the Manager of Planning and Systems at the CSIR, Professor Pravesh Debba.
