His nearest rival, Archana Rana Jagjit Singh Patil (NCP), secured about 418,906 votes (~32.70% vote share). The margin of victory was around 329,846 votes, indicating a strong mandate.
This victory underscores the strength of the Shiv Sena (UBT) in the region and the importance of personal leadership and local issues influencing voter behaviour.

🔸 2019 and Earlier Results:
In 2019, Omprakash Rajenimbalkar had won the Osmanabad seat with ~596,640 votes (~49.9% share). In 2014, the seat was won by Ravindra Vishwanath Gaikwad (Shiv Sena) with ~607,699 votes (~54.3% share) defeating NCP’s Padmasinha Bajirao Patil.
These results show that while the seat has been under Shiv Sena’s influence for a number of cycles, margins and vote-shares have varied, with 2024 showing a significant strengthening of the winning margin.
