In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Shyamkumar Daulat Barve (INC) won the Ramtek seat, securing 613,025 votes (~48.94% vote share). He defeated his nearest rival, Raju Deonath Parve (Shiv Sena), who received 536,257 votes (~42.81%), marking a victory margin of about 76,768 votes.
This result signified a notable shift in the electorate’s preference—returning to Congress after previous cycles of dominance by the Shiv Sena and other parties.

🔸 2019 and Earlier Results:
In the 2019 election, the seat was won by Krupal Balaji Tumane (Shiv Sena) with approximately 594,827 votes, defeating the Congress candidate by a margin of about 126,783 votes.
Historically, Ramtek has been represented by Congress in earlier decades (including by former Prime Minister P. V. Narasimha Rao) and has witnessed a series of party and leadership changes.
The 2024 result thus represented a re-consolidation of Congress influence in this seat, reversing the prior trend of regional party dominance.
