Doug Ford’s Progressive Conservatives will win another majority, Global News is projecting, with the party on course to win a historic, successive third term.

Polls closed at 9 p.m. Thursday, bringing the conclusion of Ontario’s winter election campaign which was triggered by Ford at the end of January.

With voting now over and results beginning to filter in, Global News can project Ford will win the election he called with another majority — though it remains to be seen how many seats his PC Party will end the night with.
