Nanded Lok Sabha election results

In the 2024 Lok Sabha election, Vasantrao Balwantrao Chavan of the Indian National Congress won the Nanded seat. He secured 528,894 votes, defeating Prataprao Govindrao Chikhlikar of the BJP, who got 469,452 votes. The margin of victory was 59,442 votes.

Later in 2024, a by-poll was held for Nanded following the death of sitting MP Vasant Chavan. In that by-poll, Ravindra Chavan of the Congress defeated Santukrao Hambarde of the BJP by a very narrow margin of 1,457 votes. Ravindra Chavan polled 586,788 votes, while Hambarde got 585,331 votes.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha election, Prataprao Patil Chikhalikar of the BJP won the seat. He got 486,806 votes, while Ashok Shankarrao Chavan of the Congress secured 446,658 votes. Third place went to Yashpal Bhinge of VBA with 166,196 votes.

In 2014, the seat was won by Ashok Shankarrao Chavan (Congress). He defeated D. B. Patil of BJP. Chavan got 491,292 votes and the BJP candidate got 410,454 votes.
