His nearest competitor, Sanjog Bhiku Waghere Patil from Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction), received 596,217 votes, which was 42.00% of the votes. The victory margin was 96,615 votes.
Other candidates included Madhavitai Naresh Joshi from Vanchit Bahujan Aaghadi with 27,768 votes and NOTA voters accounting for 16,760 votes. The constituency saw a voter turnout of 54.92%.
Shrirang Barne successfully retained the Maval seat, reinforcing Shiv Sena's position in the region amid strong competition from the Uddhav faction.
