Mauritius Election 2024: PM Jugnauth Says His Party is Headed for a Decisive Defeat

On November 11, polling was held for 62 seats of the parliament. Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth and his main rivals all promised to tackle a cost of living crisis in the Indian Ocean archipelago. The opposition is dominated by the Alliance du Changement coalition led by Navin Ramgoolam and two other parties running in the Linion Reform alliance.
