The Maharashtra election sees the Maha Vikas Aghadi and the Maratha warriors in a fierce battle. The Maha Vikas Aghadi, the India Alliance, could cross 145 seats, carrying over the pattern from the June 2024 Lok Sabha election. This would mean a rejection of the politics of Jodhpur and a consolidation of the Maratha votes in favour of the MBA. The impact of the Larki Behen scheme could be neutralised by inflation and soya bean prices. The Mahayuti is trying to counter this, but if unsuccessful, it could hurt their prospects in Marathwada and Vidar.
