K Kavitha Detained | Election Commission Of India To Announce Lok Sabha Election 2024 Dates | News18

BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao’s daughter, K Kavitha, on Friday, was arrested after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided her residence in Hyderabad in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case. The BRS MLC is being brought to Delhi for further questioning.

According to reports, an argument ensued between ED officials and BRS leader KTR, who is also Kavitha’s brother, when the probe agency served an arrest memo on the BRS leader. KTR alleged ED produced an “illegal arrest warrant” against Kavitha. ED officials told KTR not to “obstruct” the team’s work.

After concluding its hectic deliberations with political parties in Jammu and Kashmir, the Election Commission of India (ECI) is likely to announce the voting and results dates for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections today. With its J&K visit, the poll body concluded its pan-India survey and there’s a strong buzz that the Lok Sabha dates announcement may take place anytime now.
