The voting for India’s 2024 general elections has begun in the country. Indian citizens are casting their vote in phase one of the Lok Sabha election. The voting is being held across 21 states and union territories like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, and Lakswadeep. The general elections to elect 543 members of the 18th Lok Sabha will be held in seven phases, from April 19 to June 1. The results will be announced on June 4.
