The Congress party has once again demanded a digital, machine-readable copy of the Maharashtra Voter Rolls and CCTV footage from polling day for both the 2024 Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

This comes in response to the Election Commission’s letter to Rahul Gandhi, offering talks over poll-related concerns.

In a fresh letter, the Congress Empowered Action Group has insisted the ECI provide the voter list data and video surveillance records from both Maharashtra and Haryana within a week.

However, the party also took a swipe at the poll body, accusing it of media leaks and evasion instead of transparency.
