Kemi Badenoch has joined calls for a general election - but only if the potential new Labour leader Andy Burnham fails to do one thing.
Speaking to the media following the resignation of Sir Keir Starmer as Prime Minister, the Conservative leader said: "If Andy Burnham is not able to fund the defence investment plan, then we should have a general election."
