The latest Mood of the Nation projections point to sharply different political trends in Punjab and West Bengal. In Punjab, the INDIA bloc’s projected vote share has fallen from 52% in the 2024 Lok Sabha election to 25% in August 2026, with the NDA at 16%. In West Bengal, meanwhile, the NDA’s projected vote share has climbed from 39% in 2024 to 46%, while the INDIA bloc stands at 11%.
