Chandrapur Lok Sabha Election 2024 Result

In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Pratibha Suresh “Balubhau” Dhanorkar of the Indian National Congress (INC) won the Chandrapur seat with 718,410 votes, capturing 57.88% of the vote share.
She defeated Sudhir Sacchidanand Mungantiwar of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who secured 458,004 votes (36.90%).
Dhanorkar’s winning margin was 260,406 votes, indicating a very strong mandate.
Voter turnout in Chandrapur during the 2024 election was 67.57%, reflecting robust participation.

This result marks a significant victory for Congress in Chandrapur, a constituency that spans parts of Chandrapur and Yavatmal districts, reinforcing its political strength in this key Vidarbha region.
