Live from Bondi Beach’s voting station in Sydney as Australia holds general elections with the center-left Labor Party government seeking a second three-year term.

8.1 million registered voters will cast their ballots for all 150 lower house (House of Representative) seats. At least 76 of the 150 seats are needed for a majority. The party that wins a majority will form government and their leader will be Prime Minister

The major party candidates are:

-Peter Dutton, Liberal Party (part of the Liberal-National Coalition)
