India Records 65.79% Voter Turnout in 2024 General Election | Subscribe to Firstpost

The Election Commission of India has revealed that the overall voter turnout in India's massive general election was at 65.79%. This number is slightly lower than that of 2019 when around 67% of the voters showed up. The Northeastern state of Assam has recorded the highest voter turnout of 81.56%. While Bihar has recorded the lowest voter turnout of 56.19%. The Election Commission said more statistical details will be published later.
