Former President Thabo Mbeki says 2024 general elections should be held in August instead of May to allow for the possible rejection of the amended Electoral Act by the courts.
This emerged from the Cape Town Conversation conference, which also heard that European Union sanctions on Russian fertilisers are threatening food security in Africa.
