400 സീറ്റെന്ന മുദ്രാവാക്യവുമായി 2024ൽ ലോക്സഭാ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിനെ നേരിട്ട ബിജെപിക്ക് കേവല ഭൂരിപക്ഷത്തിനാവശ്യമായ 272 സീറ്റ് പോലും നേടാനായില്ല. 240 സീറ്റ് മാത്രം ലഭിച്ച ബിജെപി സഖ്യകക്ഷികളുടെ പിന്തുണയോടെയാണ് അധികാരത്തിലേറിയത്.തിരിച്ചു വരവിന്റെ സൂചന നൽകി പ്രതിപക്ഷവും ജനാധിപത്യത്തിന്റെ കരുത്ത് തെളിയിച്ചു.രണ്ട് വർഷങ്ങൾക്കിപ്പുറം ഒന്നിച്ച് നിന്ന പ്രതിപക്ഷം തമ്മിലടിച്ചും മറ്റ് പല കാരണങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടും ശിഥിലമായി കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.അതേസമയം ബിജെപി നേതൃത്വം നൽകുന്ന എൻഡിഎ മുന്നണി മൂന്നിൽ രണ്ട് ഭൂരിപക്ഷമെന്ന മാന്ത്രിക സംഖ്യയിലേക്ക് കുതിക്കുകയാണ്.ദേശീയ രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിലെ ഈ സംഭവ വികാസങ്ങളാണ് ടോക്കിങ് പോയിന്റ് ഇന്ന് ചർച്ച ചെയ്യുന്നത്.അതിയായി ചേരുന്നത് രാഷ്ട്രീയ നിരീക്ഷകൻ എ ജയശങ്കർ.

In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, despite campaigning with the slogan of securing 400 seats, the BJP failed to cross even the simple majority mark of 272 seats. Winning just 240 seats, the BJP assumed power with the support of its alliance partners. On the other side, the opposition proved the strength of democracy by showing strong signs of a comeback.

Two years later, the once-united opposition is splintering due to internal rifts and various other factors.
