अगले साल देश के सात राज्यों में विधानसभा चुनाव होने वाले हैं । इनमें भाजपा के लिए उत्तर प्रदेश और गुजरात तो महत्वपूर्ण हैं ही । पर असली चुनावी चुनौती पंजाब में है। पंजाब इसलिए कि पश्चिम बंगाल, असम, त्रिपुरा जैसे सीमावर्ती राज्यों में सरकार बनाने के बाद पंजाब राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है। पंजाब में भाजपा का संगठन उत्तर भारत के राज्यों में सबसे कमजोर है। पंजाब में वह शुरु से ही अकाली दल की बैसाखी के सहारे चल रही थी। कथित किसान आंदोलन के समय दोनों के रास्ते अलग हो गए। भाजपा लौटकर उस गली में नहीं जाना चाहती। वह अगले विधानसभा चुनाव में अपने दम पर मैदान में उतरना चाहती है। नगर निकाय चुनाव के नतीजे बदलाव का हल्का संकेत मिल रहा है। चुनाव तक इसका क्या स्वरूप होगा यह देखना होगा।
Assembly elections are going to be held in seven states of the country next year. Among these, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat are important for BJP. But the real electoral challenge is in Punjab. Punjab because after forming government in border states like West Bengal, Assam, Tripura, Punjab is very important from the point of view of national security. BJP's organization in Punjab is the weakest among the states of North India. In Punjab, it was running on the crutches of Akali Dal since the beginning. The two parted ways during the alleged farmers' movement. BJP does not want to return to that street. She wants to contest the next assembly elections on her own.
